Today marks a significant milestone as the Nanjing Alibaba Center, also known as Alibaba's Jiangsu Headquarters, reaches its full construction height.
Located at the intersection of Youyi Street and Lushan Road in Jiangning District, Nanjing Alibaba Center boasts a total construction area of approximately 850,000 square meters. The complex comprises six research office buildings, including the Alibaba Jiangsu Headquarters and eco-enterprises, one shopping center, one long-term rental apartment building, and a four-story trendy street block.
The highlight of the design is the "One Kilometer Skywalk" that spans the entire complex, providing easy access to any part of the park. From an aerial view, seven skywalks crisscross the park, totaling about one kilometer in length. Each skywalk, with a maximum length of 200 meters and a width of about 6 meters, facilitates interconnection between various buildings, enhancing functional coordination and scene linkage efficiency.
Especially noteworthy is the central intersection of the seven skywalks, designed in the shape of a UFO, symbolizing technology and the future. This unique feature is expected to become one of the many iconic landmarks at the Nanjing Alibaba Center.
With a focus on research office buildings, trendy street blocks, shopping centers, and long-term rental apartments, Nanjing Alibaba Center offers a one-stop "office + lifestyle" experience, catering not only to the diverse needs of internet companies but also radiating convenience to surrounding residents.
The first phase of the project will include the construction of a four-story trendy street block, covering various formats such as dining, leisure, sports, and fitness. Furthermore, the trendy street block will extend operating hours after work, providing opportunities for leisure activities.
Additionally, located in the second phase of the project is the Nanjing Qincheng Wanxiang Mall, which will be the fifth commercial project operated by China Resources Wanxiang Life in Nanjing. With a total commercial construction area of approximately 130,000 square meters, including three underground floors and six above-ground floors, the mall plans to accommodate over 200 brands.
Furthermore, the second phase will feature long-term rental apartments tailored for urban elites, offering over 500 diverse units. Here, city elites will enjoy a lifestyle where living above and shopping below are seamlessly integrated.
Nanjing Alibaba Center's landscape design integrates the concept of "one axis, one belt, and six gardens," creating a park-style office ecological district. The project has been awarded the LEED-CS Gold Certification and the China Green Building Three-Star Dual Environmental Design Certification.
According to reports, the first phase of Nanjing Alibaba Center is expected to be officially put into use in the second half of this year.
