About Jianye District
Jianye District is a municipal district under the jurisdiction of Nanjing City, Jiangsu Province, China. Jianye District is the main urban area of Nanjing. It is adjacent to the Outer Qinhuai River and Qinhuai New River in the east, with a total area of 82 square kilometers. Jianye District is the financial service center in the eastern part of the country, it is also the business and trade center, the convention and exhibition center in the Yangtze River Delta. Jianye District is famous for its innovation and creativity, the domestic economy is prosperous, the transportation is developed, and the population is dense.
Jianye District has successively hosted the 10th National Games, the 12th China-EU Leaders’ Meeting, Nanjing Asian Youth Games, Nanjing Youth Olympic Games, Nanjing International Marathon, 2016 World Roller Skating Championships, the FIVB Volleyball World Grand Prix.
