About NOCIC

In 2019, the Jianye District Government established the NOCIC, Nanjing Overseas Collaborative Innovation Center (Stuttgart, Germany) in response to the Nanjing Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government's requirement to gather global innovation resources and the 25-year state-province partnership between Jiangsu Province and the German state of Baden-Württemberg.

This overseas center aims to connect domestic and international 

enterprises, talents, and technologies, and provide a platform for communication and cooperation between Nanjing and the international community. Its main task is to promote the matching of overseas scientific and technological innovation resources by introducing Nanjing’ s science and technology industry policies and technology needs of companies to Germany. This is to facilitate the implementation and transformation of high-end scientific research achievements and industrial applications in Nanjing, as well as provide international opportunities for local enterprises.

Additionally, the center focuses on attracting high-end talents to work and start businesses in Nanjing through various means, providing them with a superior development environment and support. 

The Nanjing Overseas Collaborative Innovation Center (Stuttgart, 

Germany) is jointly operated by the Messe Stuttgart and its Chinese 

branch, Messe Nanjing. Through bilateral synchronous operation, the 

center accelerates the friendly cooperation and technological 

exchanges between Baden-Württemberg and Nanjing, continuously 

gathering German innovation resources and high-end talent teams to 

innovate and start businesses in Nanjing.
